London, England – November 30, 2023 – Arsenal secured their place in the last 16 of the UEFA Champions League with a resounding 6-0 victory over RC Lens at the Emirates Stadium on Wednesday night. The Gunners were in complete control from start to finish, scoring six goals through six different players to seal their passage to the knockout stages in style.

A Dominant Display

Arsenal came out of the gates firing, and it took just 13 minutes for them to break the deadlock. Martin Odegaard extended Arsenal’s lead to 5-0 in the 63rd minute with a composed penalty, before Jorginho put the finishing touches on the victory with a late spot-kick of his own to make it 6-0.

Arsenal’s victory was a fitting performance for a team that has been in excellent form this season. The Gunners have now won four of their five Champions League group matches, and they will head into the last 16 as one of the favorites to win the competition.
