On November 9, 2023, a father and son were killed in a targeted shooting in Edmonton, Alberta. The shooting took place at approximately 12:00 p.m. in the southeast neighborhood of Walker.
Edmonton police say that the two victims were a 41-year-old man and his 11-year-old son. The two were shot outside of a business in the area of 50 Street and Ellerslie Road.

Both the man and the boy were pronounced dead at the scene. Police say that the shooting is believed to have been targeted.
Police are asking for anyone with information about the shooting to come forward. They are also asking people to avoid the area of 50 Street and Ellerslie Road while the investigation is ongoing.
