Significant Closure and Celebrations: Ram Temple Consecration in Ayodhya

Union minister Jitendra Singh conveyed that this decision stems from a recognition of the overwhelming sentiments surrounding this monumental occasion.

The order issued to all central government ministries and departments emphasizes the desire to enable employees to actively participate in the celebrations. The pran-pratishtha ceremony at the Ram Temple is scheduled for 12:30 pm on January 22, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and various dignitaries from diverse backgrounds in attendance. The ceremonies commenced on January 16, a week before the main event, with specific rituals being performed daily in preparation for the pran-pratishtha.

This grand celebration extends beyond Ayodhya, impacting the entire nation. The Bar Council of India has even approached Chief Justice of India DY Chandrachud, urging him to grant a holiday on January 22. In a letter, Bar Council of India chairman Manan Kumar Mishra highlighted the immense religious, historical, and cultural significance of the Shri Ram Mandir inauguration. Mishra emphasized that this event marks the realization of a long-awaited dream and signifies the culmination of legal proceedings that have played a pivotal role in defining the nation’s structure.
