The family members of the teenager took immediate action by lodging a complaint against the accused teacher, prompting law enforcement to initiate an investigation into the matter. Additional Superintendent of Police (Rural), Sagar Jain, confirmed the details of the case. The unfortunate incident unfolded when the young girl attended her tutoring session on Thursday.
Instead of providing guidance and education, her teacher allegedly coerced her into accompanying him to Roorkee, located in the Indian state of Uttarakhand, where he sexually assaulted her. Frightened by the threats of severe consequences if she spoke out about the horrifying ordeal, the traumatized victim kept the incident hidden. However, upon her return home, she mustered the courage to confide in her family, who promptly registered a First Information Report (FIR) with the local authorities. Presently, the accused teacher remains at large, but the police are actively pursuing leads to apprehend him, assured the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP).
