Responding to the situation, Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan has called on the public to remain vigilant and avoid venturing near rivers, hilly areas, and beaches, where the risks associated with heavy rains are heightened. The district collector of Ernakulam has made an official announcement, stating that all CBSE and ICSE schools, along with Kendriya Vidyalaya, will also remain closed on Tuesday.
