The headquarters has recommended his suspension and departmental action, which the government is expected to implement within a day or two. The husband of the female PCS officer had recently accused the commandant of establishing close relations with his wife and conspiring with her to plot his murder. Based on these allegations, the headquarters had initiated a preliminary departmental investigation.
The investigating officer, DIG Santosh Kumar, has stated in his report that Manish Dubey is culpable in the conspiracy to murder the husband of the female PCS officer. Based on this finding, the Director-General of Homeguards, B.K. Maurya, has recommended the suspension and departmental investigation of the commandant. It is expected that the headquarters’ recommendation will be promptly implemented, resulting in the commandant’s suspension.
