Meanwhile, the Pakistani side attempted to deploy a quadcopter over the site of the incident. However, as the Indian side retaliated with gunfire, the quadcopter hastily retreated to the Pakistani territory, according to sources.
This incident follows a similar event on May 3, when the Indian Army effectively thwarted an infiltration bid in Kupwara, Jammu and Kashmir. In the encounter that ensued, two terrorists were eliminated by the Indian forces.
