PM Narendra Modi called on the science community to achieve an advanced science laboratory on 75th Year of independence.
As the prime minister was speaking at the inaugural ceremony of 108th Indian Science Congress that was held in the campus of Nagpur University, he made proceedings on both, developmental and under developing sectors. The PM also mentioned that in the next 25 years, these sectors would attain new heights.
“In science, when passion combines with the attitude of service to the nation, it leads to extraordinary results. The Indian scientific community would play a major role in taking India to a pole position. Observation is most important for scientists who follow a pattern and reach a conclusion. In this time data collection and analysing it is important.”
The PM also highlighted the belongingness of 21st to India. Besides, he spoke on how the enormous data and technology we have can help India to take science to unseen peaks. “Our traditional knowledge and scientific approach would help us in scientific discovery. We need to strengthen our scientific process and also develop an attitude for it. As India is taking rapid strides in the field of science and technology we are witnessing the results.” He said.

Furthermore, Prime ministers informed about the progress of India on the global scale in the field of science and technology. He quoted how India has come to 40th position in 2022 from 88th position in 2015.
“Today we are among the top three nations in the startups. I am happy that the ISC theme of sustainable technology and development with women empowerment is being used widely. The world’s future depends on sustainable development. You also have attached women empowerment with the subject, which are connected to each other. We should empower science and research.”
However, in the midst of the emergence of new diseases, The PM Narendra Modi said that the nation needs a strong and solid research team which is capable of handling these kinds of situations.
“We need develop technology to tackle natural calamities like floods and earthquakes we need to have integrated disease surveillance to identify the diseases and find out the waste eliminated various ministries need to work together in the fields of science and technology.”
At last, The PM mentioned that how the entire world approached India when we had launched low-cost carriers. In the speech, he spoke on the integration of the startups and private in order to benefit these sort of initiatives.
Following on, he told that we all have to work together on those subjects that would benefit the human community globally.
