The Prykarpattia high schools in the western Ivano-Frankivsk region are pioneering this initiative, with Governor Svitlana Onyshchuk announcing on social media that students will engage in shooting practice using safe interactive systems during “Defence of Ukraine” classes. This groundbreaking approach is set to be implemented in three dozen schools across the region, which has experienced relative calm compared to the intense fighting in other parts of Ukraine.
The innovative training programs involve mobile systems equipped with multimedia tools, software, and simulated weapon samples.
