There has been a memorandum of understanding (MoU) signed between India and Panama in order to encourage cooperation in the training of diplomats. It was signed by Dr. Subramanyam Jaishankar, the Indian External Affairs Minister, and Janaina Tewaney Mencomon, the Foreign Minister of Panama, that the Memorandum of Understanding between India and Panama was signed.
As a result of the MoU being signed in Indore, the Minister for External Affairs has noted that they have discussed opportunities for greater economic, health, financial, and people-to-people linkages over the coming years. It has also been shared by both leaders that they view the current global situation from different perspectives.
There is no doubt that the Pravasi Bhartiya Divas convention is one of the most important events of the government of India. By offering this platform, it allows the diaspora to connect and engage with overseas Indians as well as enable them to interact with each other on a daily basis.
The 17th Pravasi Bhartiya Divas convention was organized in partnership with the Madhya Pradesh government from the 8th to 10th of January 2023 in Indore. The theme of this year’s PBD convention was Diaspora: Reliable Partners for the Progress of India in Amrit Kaal ”.
At the 17th Pravasi Bhartiya Divas (PBD) Convention in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, an agreement between India and Panama was signed. On the 8th and 10th of January 2023, the 17th Pravasi Bhartiya Divas took place with the theme ‘Diaspora: Reliable Partners for India’s Progress in Amrit Kaal’ as its focus.
On 23rd November 2022, India, Panama held the 2nd Foreign Office Consultation in Panama City, Panama and in which India was represented by Saurabh Kumar, Secretary (East), and the Panama was represented by Vladimir A Franco Sousa, Vice Minister of External Relations and during the convention between both countries, both the ministers discussed the opportunities for greater economic, health, finance, and people-to-people linkage.
