Under the agreement, Meesho will provide training and support to rural entrepreneurs, especially women, to help them set up their businesses and reach out to a wider audience. The platform will also provide access to its technology and tools, enabling rural entrepreneurs to connect with customers across the country and grow their businesses.
The partnership with Meesho is part of the government’s efforts to promote rural entrepreneurship and provide employment opportunities in rural areas. The Ministry of Rural Development has been actively working towards the goal of creating self-employment opportunities in rural areas and promoting rural entrepreneurship.
Meesho is a social commerce platform that enables people to start their businesses without any investment. The platform provides a range of products that can be sold online, including fashion, beauty, and household products. Meesho’s unique business model allows entrepreneurs to use their social networks to sell products and earn a commission on each sale.

It will enable rural entrepreneurs to start their businesses with minimal investment and provide them with the necessary training and support to succeed.
