In an exclusive report, a source with direct knowledge revealed that the organizers of the Paris 2024 Olympics are contemplating a plan to install the Olympic flame on the iconic Eiffel Tower. This decision, if implemented, would provide a captivating backdrop to the highly anticipated sporting event scheduled from July 26 to August 11.

However, due to technical constraints, the flame would not be positioned at the top of the Eiffel Tower, as it is already occupied by antennas. The logistics of whether the flame will remain on the monument throughout the Games have not yet been finalized, and the exact location for the lighting ceremony on the opening day of the Olympics is still under discussion. A spokesperson for Paris 2024 confirmed that no official decision has been made regarding the venue for the flame’s lighting. However, they did not deny the ongoing efforts to install the flame on the Eiffel Tower. The spokesperson refrained from disclosing any further details or specifying when an official announcement would be made.

The Olympic flame, after a 10-day voyage across the Mediterranean from Greece, will arrive at the port city of Marseille on May 8. It will be transported on the magnificent three-masted tall ship called “Belem.” The flame’s arrival marks the beginning of its journey throughout France, building excitement and anticipation for the upcoming Olympic Games. Should the plan to display the Olympic flame on the Eiffel Tower come to fruition, it would unite two of the world’s most recognizable symbols, creating a truly remarkable spectacle for athletes and spectators alike. The concept has been in development for the past two years, signifying the meticulous planning and attention to detail undertaken by the Paris 2024 Organizing Committee.
