In a devastating incident that occurred on Thursday morning, a speeding private bus collided head-on with a truck near Maksi town in Madhya Pradesh’s Shajapur district, resulting in the deaths of four individuals and injuries to 14 others.

The mishap took place at approximately 5 am when the victims, en route from Jalaun district in Uttar Pradesh to Ahmedabad for a wedding ceremony, became victims of the unfortunate accident. According to Gopal Singh Chouhan, the station in-charge of Maksi police station, the collision occurred between the bus and a truck near Donta village in the Shajapur district. Tragically, among the deceased were two women and a minor, as confirmed by the official. Immediate action was taken, and the injured individuals were promptly transported to Ujjain for medical treatment. The incident has left the local community in deep shock and mourning as they come to terms with the loss of their loved ones.
