In a devastating accident near Mysuru, Karnataka, ten individuals, including two children, lost their lives when a car collided with a bus, resulting in crushing injuries, according to local police reports. Preliminary investigations suggest that the Innova car was traveling at a high speed and lost control while negotiating a turn near Kurpur, ultimately colliding head-on with the bus. Expressing his condolences, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has announced a compensation of Rs 2 lakh each for the families of the ten victims hailing from Bellary, who tragically lost their lives in the horrific crash. The Chief Minister has instructed the Deputy Commissioner to promptly visit the location and initiate a thorough investigation into the incident.
