At present, the Curiosity rover is located in the Mount Sharp region of geyl in the crater. Years ago, NASA successfully put another rover named Perseverance up to Mars.

However, due to the small size of the coal as compared to the Earth, as well as the absence of a powerful magnetic field, scientists believe that the water is submerged due to the radiation coming from the Sun. Scientists believe that this happened because of the non-generation of the magnetic field in the interior of the coal core over time.
